WEL Foundation, in partnership with the African Center for Community Development (ACCD) and Girls for Girls (G4G), is pleased to invite applications for the Inaugural U.S. Leadership Champions Fellowship (LCF) 2026–2027.

Developed by WEL Foundation, the LCF is a 12-month, intergenerational leadership development journey designed to empower women across generations, cultures, professions, and lived experiences. Through mentoring, individualized coaching, peer learning, and leadership action, Fellows strengthen their leadership identities, build confidence and capacity, expand their networks, and turn their aspirations into meaningful action.

The inaugural U.S. Fellowship places particular emphasis on uplifting Black immigrant women and recognizing the knowledge, experience, cultural perspectives, and leadership they bring to their workplaces and communities. Through an affirming and collaborative environment, participants are supported in advancing their personal and professional goals, advocating for themselves and others, and creating positive change.

At WEL Foundation, we believe leadership extends beyond titles and positions. By investing in women and fostering opportunities for connection, growth, and shared learning, the Leadership Champions Fellowship seeks to cultivate a community of women who lead with purpose, create pathways for others, and strengthen the organizations and communities they serve.
